CASC is the fastest growing school of higher education in Oklahoma, according to the Oklahoma State Board of Regents. The college was recently named the sixth fastest growing community college in the nation. CASC also has 4-year degrees available. 2006-07 enrollment was 2,400.

A technical training system that meets the workforce training skills needed in today?s industries. They provide safety training needs to meet OSHA, PEOSH and MSHA requirements. The University of Arkansas at Fayetteville is approximately 70 minutes drive from Poteau.
